Stag night

Oh yeah...
It seems that i will not be allowed to live the healthy that i want. :P
Yesterday i was invited to a Stag night.
It was amazing thou. We made the party in a Irish Pub (which i knew already coz i went to see a rugby Match there one week ago) near to Hackescher Markt - a party area of Berlin which is full of Pubs.
The party was to be exact... a Karaoke party and since the place was full of irish people the spirit of the place was much much funnier that in a normal german place. So funny and relaxing... that i decided to sing for my first time in life... to the amusement of my friends and knownpeople.

It could have been the moment to be pushed throught the sky and become an star *g* if i wouldn't have chosen such a complicated song: El Niagara en Bicicleta, from Juan Luis Guerra. Well.. at least they will keep laughing at least two weeks. Juan Luis Guerra sings like a crazy man... too fast.

PS: Some friend took a pic of me and a friend on stage!! "I dedicate this moment of Glory to my mother... *g*"

Marseille Vacations -- Fourth day

I went out today not that late... coz today it's time to visit the Calanque. Some rock formations near to Marseille that i was told are great. After a quick breakfast (with eggs...:P ) i walked to the Obelisco to take the bus that is going to leave me near to the park. There is a Patisserie on my way to the Obelisco that i have seen with sweet eyes the last days ... and today i buy there the dessert that it's going to be my favorite food from Marseille: "Créme Brulée" See : Créme Brulée. I take it with me and decided to eat it in the park.... a nice place was soon found and there i enjoy one of the best desserts i have ever tasted. Great!! The calanques are also very interesting and i spend my entire day walking through... i even dare to swimm 5 mins, because i saw some people enjoying the water in a lonely beach... agg.. if i should have known that the water was so cold, i wouldnt have think for a min about swimming. It was my shortest swimming ever... after that.. i'm ready to swim near to the polar circle. Everything is nice today... i walk day and night and take all the pics i could. My mother would have loved this spectacular views. At least now i have the camera with me. Kisses mother.

Marseille Vacation -- Third Day

Again waking up late... ag.. what the hell.. these are my vacations. At 11:30 i reach the Vieux Port and buy a ticket to Frioul Islands. I have to wait 45 mins, enough to get an Spar and buy something for the trip.
The day was marvelous.. warm and very nice. I walked through the both islands (not D´if but i took many pics of this island from the others.. the story of the "cond of montecrist" from dumas was based in a real story happend there. I was all the day walking taking pics... climbing ropes (see pics) and asking me two questions:
1. Why so many people seem to have tried to settle down there but failed-- i saw many abandoned houses.
2. Why there seem to be ilogical constructions -- see linea de tren that end in the nothing.

funny. :-P Perhaps the history of those islands were at some point similar to the one in Ireland : people was ordered to do things without a sense only because they have to be employed.
The day was soooo good... only a dark spot... the dinner. Instead of paying 18eu for a Bouillabaisse.. i decided to pay 12 for a unknow dish in an unknow restaurant in front of the Vieux Port. Result: 12 euros lost. Well. thats ok too... i bought 20 eggs and though: i will only eat eggs and mcdonnals the next 3 days. !! :-s i was quite mad.

Marseille Vacation -- Second Day

Sabado-
Ok... i thought i will be up at 8:30am but it seems that my clock was ringing for a long time and it was left without battery. It's something like 11am when i leave the hotel to find some coffee and a Patisserie (ummm... i love cakes) to make up for my breakfast. I dont find anything i would like (and moreover .. almost all the patisseries dont have tables). It seems that Frenchs don´t accustom to take the breakfast outside of their homes. I take a baggete and some fruits and think: thats french too. ;-)
I dont want to write about every place i visit, so i will let you with a bunch of pictures coz one picture makes more than thousend words. Notradrame D'la gard, Abbaye Saint Victor, Vieux Port, etc. After Notradame i looked for a restaurant... there were a lot of places closed.. why?I think. it´s saturday. But Ok.. one sign outside of a closed door gets my attention: the prices ok (at least ok for the big hunger that was taking control of me)... after trying to open the door many times i start wondering if that was a trap and some cameraman was nearby taking pictures of me and i will be in the french "hidden camera" to make the frenchs laugh a little. Someone comes after i press the bell button of all the apartments of that building. In a bad english she told me that frenchs dont use to eat that early !!(it was 5:30pm) and opens the restaurant only for me (uff. now i was feeling better). The dinner was not that nice... but well.. it was ok.
I wanted to go party.. but i saw in internet some discos and they were pretty full and not that nice. I prefer to go home and rest for tomorrow. I want to take a ship to the Frioul islands. I've read that they are nice, but i know now that i won´t be able to go to Chatteur D'If coz " it's too windy".

Marseille, Vacation -- First Day.

Uff. I'm tired because i slept in the airport of Stockholm (Skavsta)... but nothing to claim about, i'm very happy that my flight is going on time and i'm really looking forward to a nice vacations in Marseille. The weather forcast predicts that the days i'm going to be will be sunny and nice.
I arrived to the airport of Marseille (MP2) 5 mins in advace: well done Ryanair :) and in only 2 mins i am out of the airport and looking for my shuttle to the city center (you should travel to the central station which is called Saint Charles with a shuttle and after that with a subway and a bus it´s possible to get the backpackers hostel i reserved). The price of the shuttle is incredible 8,5 euros... i miss again berlin.. hehe you can get from the airport to the center for only 2 euros.
In St Charles i found a promotion: 5 one way tickets to use the public transport for only 6 eu!! Ufff... i was thinking that my wallet will get sick of France but it feels now better: Ticket bought. St Charles itself is beutiful and i saw old trains departing from there.

The hotel is very funny, with a corridor so small that only a person can walk at the same time .. through a stair it leads to the second floor. Everything is small but it's well decorated. My room is small too, but couchy and enough for me. After a shower i'm now ready to go out.. but wait, i'm hungry too. One fast exploring walk near to the hotel helps me to find a Pizza Place.
I was so hungry that i bought 2 pizzas. The owner of the hostal told me that he knows a better place to buy pizzas but the ones i bought were nice thou.
Cookies and some desert was bought also to have a nice meal at home.
By the way... finally i decided to buy my digital camera.. obviously in berlin, only 3 days ago. Now i can start to look like a 'pastuso' taking pictures to everything that moves or every trafic lights. :P Well.. i need it. I want to share with the people i love whatever i do and the excersice of writing also helps my memory and with it i can practice also my english. Corrections are really welcome.

Ag... now is too late. I will try to go out tomorrow early and head towards the center of marseille. Walk in the center, search for the tourist attractions or only to enjoy the view of one of the oldest cities of Marseille will do me good. Lets see what Marseille has to offer.
